If you want to really know something about us, then follow these links. In them, you will see us at various points of our lives. Each of us has responsibility for creating and maintaining our Homepages...the little guys can get some assistance from the Mom or Dad. Our family is very
diverse in where each of us were born, but we all share many common values of service to our God, to our family, to our country, to our defense of freedom. This section has new information that we REALLY want you to read and see.
We are a rather large family of seven; Dad, Mom, five children, a Golden Retriever named "Duke," an orange Tabby Cat named "Miyagi," and a Tabby Cat named "Miyako." We lost a very dear pet shortly after our arrival on Okinawa,
"Gracie" was our yellow Labrador retriever...she is still sorely missed by all of us.
We recently had to take "Lady" to the animal shelter. She
became aggressive and hyper. We have heard that this can
happen to pets when they move because of the stresses involved.
She too will be missed...we are praying that she will get adopted by
another loving family.
We are currently stationed in
Washington, DC. Washington, DC is our nation's
capital...otherwise known as the capital of the free world. You can go to this page to
see our most current weather situation...see the links to
"OUR" favorite weather sites.
Back from the Future! We are now located in the same time zone
as most of our families. When we are starting our day, our families on the East coast are
waking up with us...well, at least in the same morning period.
Chuck is getting up at 0430 to beat the traffic.
We will not bore you with a bunch of rhetoric here. Instead,
click on the link above and visit our "How We Are" page for the
latest news on the Martin Family happens. Click here to see some of our "Family
Pictures." Keep checking for additional shots... :-)
We are who we are, what we are, where we are, and when we are
because of the simple grace of God. Our lives are lived
according to God's plan...even despite any attempts we might make at
running our own lives. This is simply because "In his heart, a man
plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps." Proverbs
16:9. Better still is the fact fact that "The Lord works out
everything for his own ends -- even the wicked for a day of
disaster." Proverbs 16:4.
